Who am I?
Who Am I?
Well for starters my three core values are Authenticity, Inclusivity, and Love.
I live my life by these three guiding principles and whenever I am feeling out of alignment these three values become my north star.
Where do I come from?
I have had been through my own share of traumas, that runs gamut from sexual abuse, the divorce of my parents, to the loss of friends and family members and most recently my diagnosis of Lyme Disease.
During all of these traumas I really saw how much you can grieve and really struggle in those moments.
Whether you are grieving the loss of a relationship, a loss of a person or pet, or a life you might have lived, it is still painful.
Most recently when I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease I would sit in this IV room for hours I am talking 6-7 hours a day 3x a week and I would hear everyones stories.
During that period of my life I got really good at just listening, not responding to what they were going but providing a space where they can be heard.
As you can Imagine I heard a lot.
I heard about where their life had taken them and the triumphs as well as the tribulations and I would listen to how they were coping with the harsh realities that they were facing.
It was in those moments that I would hear how they were able to cope and pivot their lives to adjust for this new change or I would hear how they didn’t know what their next step should be.
It was then that I thought why don’t we have a space where people can come and feel that they can process all these harsh realities they are being dealt and have a space that can support them through this time to help them learn how to become resilient.

But I am going to take you back to 5 years before when my husband and I lost two of his best friends back to back.
It happened within 9 months of one another and I saw and witnessed how much pain our friend group had gone through within that short amount of time.
I saw how much having specific tools and strategies allowed people to cope with their grief and pain and what those people look like today and how they can continue to live an abundant and resilient life.
I also saw what it looked like to not have a plan to help work through your grief. I saw how much grief can take over your mind, body and soul if you do not have a proper way to cope with it and what these individuals still struggle with today.
I kept on thinking why can’t we have a space where people can come and process all the hard things in life.
That was the little seed that was planted in my head years ago and came to fruition in my doctors IV room.
